III°) SETTING THE CANTARESS
To display the General Setngs Menu of the Cantaress, press the Jog wheel buton. It is located at the top
right corner of the Cantaress plate.
Scroll to the desired item by rotatng the Jog wheel and press on it to access the item
In this menu, among other items, you have access to :
1°)
Actuator Assignment
:
As of today, the Cantaress is setup in “Table Mode”, meaning you can only afect Tracks to Sliders.
- It is possible to change the currently selected actuator by turning the jog wheel and then by pressing the
Jog to apply it.
- To move to the next or previous actuator, press the buton corresponding to the e-paper screen indicaton
: “Lef” or “Right”.
- To exit this menu, press the buton corresponding to the e-paper screen indicaton : “Esc”.

Calibraton of the Cantaress actuators

- Rotatve Potentometers
- Linear Faders
Follow the on screen indicaton in case of need.

Load sofware
Select this item in order to load a Cantaress sofware version. Note that the Cantaress does not need to be
connected to the recorder
Install a USB media containing the new “.csw” fle at its root folder. The Cantaress will scan the USB media
and display all available “.csw” fles.
Select the desired fle, press the Jog wheel to validate and launch the Update process.
