6 2 Overcoming obstacles
Emergency stop function
When the rocker switch is released, v-max automatically stops on the surface level within 1 metre

depending on the weight of the transported person, the ground, the terrain profile, etc.

NOTE - Never pull on/lift v-max grips, as they are not designed for
this. Use the wheelchair’s push handles.

NOTE - Observe the wheelchair manufacturer’s information on the maximum obstacle height
in the user manual without fail!

Note - Be mindful of the anti-tilt supports if you need to climb edges or obstacles
as they can otherwise be damaged.
6 3 Deactivating the drive
Switch off v-max
Press the ON/OFF switch.
If required:
» Insert the grips back into
the respective attachments.
Press the slider buttons to-
gether towards the release
button (PRESS).
» The sliders must click into
place.
» Drive shafts retract.
