8.6  Laying down on stairs / emergency stop function

Lay down the c-max U1.

» The safety brakes prevent it 

from slipping away!

» Press and hold the UP/

DOWN switch until the 

climbing legs have been 

completely retracted.

Please note:

The c-max U1 

must

 be lying 

on the wheels, otherwise the 

safety brakes do not take ef-

fect!

Emergency stop function

If a hazardous situation occurs, proceed as follows:

» 1 - Release the UP/DOWN switch

»

2 - Switch the c-max U1 off  via the ON/OFF switch

» 3 - Remove the safety chip

» Lay the c-max U1 down as described

Eliminate the hazardous situation and resume operation

» Insert the safety chip

» Switch the c-max U1 on via the ON/OFF switch

» Operate the UP/DOWN switch

8.7  Parking

   NOTE - Only park the c-max U1 on the horizontal.

i

   NOTE - Charge the batteries after each use.

The automatic switch-off  turns off  during longer breaks. Switch the c-max U1 

OFF

 fi rst and then 

ON

again.

Adjust neutral position.

» The climbing legs must be 

completely retracted.

Switch  the  c-max  U1  off   via 

the ON/OFF switch.

Remove the safety chip for 

the immobiliser.
