Messages are kept in the VIP List. To review the VIP List, press
VIP
and
REVIEW
buttons.
Recording a New Voice VIP Message
The procedure for recording a Voice VIP Message starts with the
unit in standby mode showing the date and time, the total number
of calls, and the number of new calls.
Tip: To get to this screen quickly, press VIP twice.
1. Press either
REVIEW
button to locate the telephone number in
the Call Log that you wish to tag.
2. Press
RECORD
.
3. If the VIP List is not full, the unit will beep once and the display
will indicate
“RECORDING”
. You will have about two seconds
to record your message. The unit will immediately play back
the message after the recording and then display the tele-
phone number and the message
“OK? PRESS RECORD”
.
4. If the message is unacceptable, press
DELETE
to repeat the
recording process.
5. If the message is acceptable, press
RECORD
to accept the
message. The telephone number and VIP Message will be
placed in the VIP List and the unit will return to standby mode.
Note: If the number is already in the VIP List, the unit will beep twice and
the display will show
“ALREADY EXISTS”
and the unit will return to
standby.
6. If the VIP List is full, the unit beeps twice, displays
“MEMORY
FULL”
and returns to standby. To free up a location in the VIP
List, you must delete a VIP Message. See “Deleting Messages
