Introduction to the synchronization ring in CORDLESS PHONE 
Installation Instruction.

•

System can use one external PSTN timing source, recommended, 
or use a free running MGU/2 to synchronize the master ELU31 
board, thus with ring in index4_mode synchronization all media 
gateways.

•

ELU31/4 index_4_mode can have ELU31/3 boards as bus slave.

•

All boards on the ring must be of the same ‘type’, ELU31/4 
index_4_mode or a combination of ELU31/4 index_3_mode and 
ELU31/3.
