31B.2 Aastra 6730a - the advanced professional analogue terminal
Aastra 6730a is an advanced professional analogue telephone powered on line by the iPbx (analogue
card) to which it is connected.
It offers some functions such as call log management, volume adjustment, message waiting, and
terminal locking.
Moreover, it is multi-lingual (6 languages available).

LCD screen
comprises 3 lines; the first one displays the functions icon, the caller
number or name if saved in the A5000 directory.

screen contrast
is adjustable.

navigation keypad
is used to browse through the menus.

1 LED
for ringer and missed calls.

4 keys with LEDs for:

Taking a call without lifting the handset:
in hands-free or headset mode. In this case, the
LED associated with the key lights up.

Hang up key
: when the handset is lifted, pressing this key allows another call to be
processed. When a call is taken in hands-free or headset mode, pressing this key ends the
call.
•
Redial key
: for redialling
any of the last 5 numbers called

Music on hold
, for putting a call on hold: during a call, pressing the "music-on-hold" key puts
the correspondent on hold (LED on) - the correspondent then hears the music on hold; the call
on hold can be resumed by pressing this same key (LED off).
