You make changes in the phone book as follows:
Personal directory
(Personal phone book)
Select an entry from the list.

Sort
For the next call the entries will be sorted according the
selected call number category (e.g. Private, Business, etc.).
Edit
The entry can be modified. If you want to change the call
number display (when calling up the phonebook) – see
page 23 – select the entry and press the
-key. The
selected entry will be marked with a * .
Press the
softkey to save the changes.
New entry
Create a new entry.
Add to ...
The selected phone number is added to the call filter or the
VIP list.
Send
You can send the previously selected entry or all the
entries as a vCard to another Aastra 600d handset and
store it/them in the handset’s personal directory. This fea-
ture can only be used if it is enabled by your System Admi-
nistrator and/or another phone.
Import
An entry from the central directory, the caller list or the
redial list can be copied to your phone book.
Delete
The entry will be deleted.
Memory
Shows the number of already stored entries.
Central directory
(System phone book)
Entries in the system phone book can only be changed by the system administrator.
If you want to select an entry, proceed as follows:

Enter the first letter(s) of the desired name and press

Select an entry with the

navigation keys and press the call key.
VIP list
Shows the entries in the call number list. For a new entry select
<New entry>
.
Name
Enter a name for the call number.
Number
Enter the call number.
Select an entry once a list has been created:

Edit
Lets you edit the entry.
Delete
Deletes the entry.
