Data address
Caution
The data address is described in the following two ways.
Absolute address: The address where the data is stored.
Communication address: Start address for communication in Modbus RTU
When communicating with Modbus RTU, the start address must be one less than the
address of the data to be read/written.
(For details of communication contents, refer to “9-5 Communication format”.)
Some communication software automatically sends one less than the address when
communicating when an absolute address is specified.
