Installing LAN for Win2000
1. Place PCM-6896 CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
2. Click on Start button.
3. Click on Settings button.
4. Click on Control Panel button.
5. Click on System button.
6. Click on Hardware button.
7. Click on Device Manager button.
8. Click on Ethernet Controller.
9. Click on Driver.
10. Click on Update Driver.
11. Click on Next.
12. Click on Uninstall.
13. Click on OK.
14. Click on Action.
15. Click on Scan Hardware.
16. Click on Ethernet Controller.
17. Click on Driver.
18. Click on Update Driver.
19. Click on Next.
20. Click on Search for a suitable driver for my device.....
21. Click on Next.
22. Remove the floppy disk option setting and engage the
specific location setting.
23. Then Net 82557 will be auto detected. Click on Finish.
Now the shut down computer for restart Window should be
visible, follow the command and the chipset driver has be
installed.
