Assembly
Assembly should be carried out by a person with specialist knowledge.
1. Place the paddings (a) on thigh area. – With the ratchet (b) facing upwards.
Ø
Afterwards, the logo on the padding should be readable from the front side!
2. Set the spacing of the paddings via the ratchet (b) by operating the buckles (e).
Ø
The hinge of the ratchet should be centred between the paddings.
Ø
Pull out the ratchet not further than to the point, where two teeth are still free behind each catch
of the buckle (c).
Ø
The Velcro (g) can be released for adjustments and the padding can be opened (only applies to
straps with covered buckles)
3. After that, attach the hole strap/webbing (f) to the frame tube of the wheelchair.
4. Tighten the ratchet (b) on both sides equally to a degree that still allows enough space for a flat
hand between the thigh and the paddings.
5. Both ends of the ratchet can be cut to length in a semicircle, if required. Deburr the ends of the
cut ratchet, if necessary. –Danger of injury!
6. Check the firm fit and locking on both sides of the ratchet!

In spite of their stable construction, components like the hole straps, webbings, ratchets and paddings
are subject to wear and tear. It is therefore recommended to perform a thorough inspection of the

every 3 Months. It is thereby important to make sure the rivet and screw connections (d)
are firmly secure! (if applicable)

Before using the product, ensure that it is in a serviceable condition and that it fits correctly. –
Danger of accidents!

Do not patch up and/or glue up and reuse damaged components such as hole staps/webbings
(f), ratchet (b) or padding (a). – Danger of accidents!
Ø
Do not sit on the paddings – danger of bruising, especially by the catches of the buckles (c)!
Ø
Do not lift the wheelchair by the

Ø
Be careful that your hands do not get caught between the webbing and the frame or seat tube.
Danger of crushing!
Restrictions on use / undesirable side effects

Do not use the

if there are any bruises, wounds or other not well-healed injuries
in the area where the paddings will be. – Danger of injury!
Ø
Do not use the

in case of osteoporosis, brittle bone disease or severe circulatory
disorders. – Danger of injury!
Ø
After cleaning, ensure the correct functioning of the
PELVI.LOC
®

Ø
A damaged
PELVI.LOC
®
must be replaced immediately. – Danger of accidents!
