By pressing and holding the "-" button (S4) for more than 3 seconds, the pushing aid is activated. The pedelec
now moves forward at 3-5km/h as long as the push button is held down. This mode is not designed for mounted
operation.
5.1.4.2 Brief instructions Battery - Installation and removal, storage, charging built-in and removed
Quick Start Guide Battery:
Fully charge the battery before first use! In the as-delivered condition, the charge is approx. 30%.
Option A: Removing the battery in the frame:
The battery on the downpipe can be removed from the battery rail to the right of the vehicle. To do this, the
key must be inserted into the battery lock and turned? turn towards the front of the vehicle and held in place.
Now the top side of the battery can be tilted out sideways to the right by approx. 10 degrees from the battery
rail. As soon as the battery is in its final position, the battery can be pulled out of the base of the battery rail
along the tilting axis. Be sure to remove and transport the battery with both hands and a secure grip.
Option B: Removal of carrier battery:
Insert the key into the battery lock and turn? turn. Insert the battery towards the rear of the vehicle
Pull out the piece. The end of the battery is designed as a handle half-shell. Pull the battery out of the vehicle
with both hands parallel to the ground. Remove the key to avoid unintentional bending at a later time.
Variant A: Installation of frame battery:
To insert the battery, insert the two holding tabs on the underside of the housing into the battery compartment
provided.
Insert the guide pieces of the battery rail mounting base at an angle of approx. 10 degrees. This should be done
without noticeable
resistance is possible. Now tilt the battery to the left into the battery rail until it clicks into place. You do not
need a key to insert the battery. Make sure to check that the battery is seated in the holding rail before driving.
Option B: Installing the carrier battery: To insert the battery, hold the battery horizontally and locate the rails in
the carrier system. Slide the battery sensitively forward without resistance until it snaps into place. You do not
need a key to insert it. After engaging the battery, carefully pull it backwards to check that the battery is firmly
seated and does not slip backwards again.
Storage (A and B):
The battery and charger must be stored in a clean, dry and well-ventilated environment.
A proximity to corrosive materials, sources of heat and fireplaces must be absolutely excluded.
Storage at temperatures between -20° and +35° at a relative humidity of 5-65% RH is permitted.
For long-term storage, the following information applies:
Completely empty the battery and charge it for about 2-3 hours. The battery should be stored in a dry and well-
ventilated environment. During storage, the battery must be charged every two months for 2-3 hours.
The charger must not be connected to the battery or the mains power supply during storage - it is not a battery
refresher!
For transport, the battery should be packed in a cardboard box and protected from shocks, impacts and direct
sunlight. Avoid immersion of the battery in water!
This battery is approved for transportation by land, sea and air in accordance with the manufacturer's
specifications.
Charging:
The battery can be charged in the vehicle itself as well as when removed. When charging in the vehicle, the
vehicle system must be deactivated before charging!
On the side of the battery, the charging socket cover is located at the height of the battery level indicator
printed on the battery housing. This cover flap can be opened to the left. Underneath it is the actual charging
