6 Starting
6.1 Introduction
6.2 Set heating functio-
nality
This chapter covers the following topics:

Set heating functionality;

Set heating setpoint;

Set priority protocol.
To get the dual service module to function, this functionality must be activated in the
control of the water heater. This functionality must be activated by the following
procedure:
1. Switch on the power supply to the water heater using the isolator between the water
heater and the power supply.
2. Switch on the power supply to the dual service module using the isolator between the
control and the power supply.
3. Switch the controller, of the water heater, ON by setting the ON/OFF-switch to
position I .
The display will now show INTERNAL CHECK for 10 seconds, and will then go to the
main menu.
4. Press once to bring up the service program. The display, as shown in the
figure, will appear.
5. Press once on the blue arrow (

) to position the cursor beside HEATING CONFIG.,
the press ENTER. The display, as shown in the figure, will appear.
