not play with the appliance.

 Indicates a potentially hazardous situation 

which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.

CAUTION:

 Used without the safety alert symbol indicates 

potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may 

result in property damage.

Risk of unsafe operation.  

When using tools or equipment, basic safety precautions 

should always be followed to reduce the risk of personal 

injury. Improper operation, maintenance or modification 

of tools or equipment could result in serious injury and 

property damage. There are certain applications for 

which tools and equipment are designed. Manufacturer 

strongly recommends that this product NOT be modified 

and/or used for any application other than for which it was 

designed. Read and understand all warnings and operating 

instructions before using any tool or equipment.

Important safety instructions

WARNING: 

This unit contains a non-spillable lead-acid 

battery. To avoid the risk of explosion, property damage or 

serious personal injury, carefully follows all directions in the 

battery replacement/disposal section of this user manual.

WARNING – When using electrical appliances, basic 

precautions should always be followed, including the 

following:

   To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is 

necessary when the light is used near children.

   Use only attachments recommended or sold by the 

manufacturer.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock:

   Never operate worklight without lens cover assembly in 

place.

   Do not put worklight in water or other liquid. Do not place 

or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub 

or sink.

   Charge indoors only. Do not expose chargers to water or 

any other liquid.

   Do not expose light or charger to wet or damp areas. Do 

not expose light or charger to rain or snow.

   Do not clean this appliance with a water spray or the like.

   Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to 

recharge.

   Always unplug the 240Vac plug pack charger and turn 

the unit off before replacing the fluorescent tube. Replace 

only with a tube of the same type and rating (13 watts).

   NEVER hang the light from electrical wires or anything 

that can become electrically “live”.

WARNING: Fire and burn hazard:

   Do not operate worklight or charger near flammable 

liquids or in gaseous or explosive atmospheres. Internal 

sparks may ignite fumes causing personal injury.

   Handle light with care around any flammable surfaces.
