V. Operation
Connect the included power supply to the corresponding connector
(5) and a suitable power source.
Qi Charging:
-
Place the smartphone on the designated area (2)

The LED indicator (5) signalises the successful charging process
by changing its colour.
Connecting devices (B7 version):
-
Keep the control (8) pressed until the LED indicator (6) starts
blinking and the product switches to pairing mode.

Go to the Bluetooth settings of your smartphone and search for
following device: 4smarts B7

As soon as a connection has been successfully established, the
product will play a confirmation sound.

If the product is not in use for a longer period of time, the LED
indicator (6) will turn off.
Lamp control (standard version):
Keep the control (3) pressed for 3 seconds to switch the light on
or off.
Touch the control (3) shortly to switch between the three bright-
ness levels.
Lamp control (B7 version):
Touch the control (3) shortly to switch the light on or off.
Click on the control (3) for 3 seconds to activate the sleep mode.
Time until automatic switch off after activation: 30 seconds
Slide your finger across the control (3) to dim or brighten the light.
Volume switch (B7 version):
Shortly press + or - on the volume switch (7) to regulate the sound
volume.
Next/Previous (B7 version):
Keep + or - pressed on the volume switch (7) to jump from one
song to another.
VI. Function notes
The 4smarts GmbH assumes no liability and provides no warranty
for damage resulting from improper installation/mounting, im-
proper use of the product or from failure to observe the operating
instructions and/or safety notes.
VIII. Warranty
The device doesn´t charge properly:
Make sure that the maximum charging distance that is stated in the
technical specifications is not exceeded. If necessary, remove ca-
ses or other objects from the smartphone that might be too thick.
Setting up the connection doesn‘t work (B7 version):
Make sure that the product:
- is fully charged.
- is inside the working range of the device.
- is not already connected to any other device (deactivate Bluetooth
at surrounding, other devices).
Make sure that your terminal device
- is compatible to the Bluetooth version, listed in the technical data
in this manual.
- has an active Bluetooth connection, and is in pairing mode.
- does not have other, active connections running.
Try to connect the product to a different terminal device.
VII. Troubleshooting
Electric and electronic devices as well as batteries must
not be disposed of with household waste. Consumers are
obliged by law to return electric and electronic devices
as well as batteries at the end of their service lives to the
public collecting points set up for this purpose or point of sale.
