When the cursor is in the top row position, operation of this command varies 

depending on the display mode. 

A.

 

Overlay mode: 

Cursor moves exactly where the same column is placed. 

B.

 

Vertical scrolling display mode: 

The top row characters scroll to the line, and then the top row characters are 

cleared and the cursor is in its original position. 

C.

 

Horizontal scroll display mode: 

Cursor fixed.

When  the  cursor  is  in  the  bottom  row  position,  the  command  is  operated 

differently depending on the display mode. 

A. Coverage mode: the cursor will move to the top cover for the same 

column. 

B.  vertical  scrolling  display  mode:  the  bottom  row  of  the  top  line 

character will roll, then the bottom row of the character is cleared, the cursor
