• Tap vial on table until media wets spore strip
• Check chemical indicator on label
Unexplained positive
One of the following may have occurred:
• Adhesive residue on vial
• Test vial absorbing fluorescent residue
from a chemical indicator or tape
• Do not place another label or indicator tape
on the vial or on the cap
• Place the vial so it does not come in direct
contact with chemical indicators or tape
