Mounting New Expansion Frames on the
Existing Frame Cabinet Side
a.
Two Bottom Frame Support Assemblies are
included with the cabinet. See section 4.2f.
c.
Use an expanding foam sealant to seal around
the cables. Mix the sealant according to the
instructions. Pour the expandable sealant 1/8"
thick on top of the foam tape, totally
surrounding the cables.
Note:
Carefully follow safety, health and
environmental information given on product
label or the MSDS sheet for the sealant.
b. Attach the assembly to the cabinet's bottom side tab with 1/4" bolts. The double Bottom Frame
Support Assembly has a platform that is attached to the base of the cabinet with one #10 self-drilling
screw. Place the new expansion frame onto the assembly and attach the top of this frame to the Top
Mounting Bracket with 1/4" bolt(s).

Adding New Expansion Frames to the back
of the New Cabinet
a.
Make sure the cabinet has a Top and Bottom
Frame Support installed on the back side.
b. Rest the frames on the lower support's pivots
and attach the frame's safety chains. Secure the
frames in the upright position with the 1/4"
bolt(s).
c.
Vacant frame positions should be covered with
the 4246 or 4246K splice chamber cover. Place
the bottom of the cover in the small notches in
the lower frames support and attach
it to the top support.
