A freezer is required for cooling parts after builds. The size of the freezer must be able to accommodate

the build platform’s size of (L x W) 55 x 41.3 cm,  (22  x 16.25 in.) 
 
Access Area Surrounding The Printer 
At least 36” (908mm) of unobstructed floor space is recommended around each side of the printer to

allow unobstructed service access to the drawers and doors. 
The 36 inch distance of unobstructed access around the printer is required for service.  The

power cord is classified as the emergency disconnect device for this printer.  In an emergency

situation, the service technician must have unobstructed access to the power cord.

 

 

Unit Portability

CAUTION: NEVER unpack, assemble, or connect any component of the shipment without

the aid of a qualified, 3D Systems Field Service Engineer or 3D Systems certified

servicing reseller. 3D Systems accepts no responsibility for damaged, defective, or

incomplete systems uncrated by anyone other than 3D Systems Field Service Engineer

or authorized reseller.

CAUTION: The casters provided have a small diameter and are not intended for use on rough or uneven surfaces including
carpet.  
CAUTION: To avoid the risk of tipping the printer when moving between locations, only push from the left or right end  of the
printer.  Do not push from the front or back of the printer.

 
The printer is intended to be lifted from the crate base using a fork lift and placed on the casters to roll

to its final destination.  The ProJet Printing System is equipped with caster-type rollers. Leveling can be

accomplished  using the threaded leveling feet. 

 

CAUTION: Once the printer is installed, it cannot be moved without the aid of a qualified, 3D Systems Field Service

Engineer or 3D Systems certified servicing reseller. 3D Systems accepts no responsibility for damage to the printer by

anyone other than 3D Systems Field Service Engineer or authorized reseller.
