Setting Up VLANs on the Switch

 

The VLAN Setup screen allows you to set up and manage VLANs on the 

 

Switch. To access the VLAN Setup screen:

From the VT100 Main Menu, select SWITCH MANAGEMENT. The Switch 

 

Management screen appears.

In the Management Level field, choose 

 

VLAN

Choose the SETUP button. The VLAN Setup screen appears as shown in

The screen shows the following:

 

Port ID

 This field allows you to enter the ID of the port 

 

that you want to set up.

 This field allows you to enter the ID of the 

 

VLAN to which the specified port is to be assigned. By default, all ports 

 

belong to the Default VLAN (VLAN 1).
