Using HomeClick Network Center
You can use HomeClick Network Center to do some of the most
common network tasks. You can see what computers are avail-
able on the network, share files, printers, and even and Internet
connection. Also use HomeClick Network Center if you have
problems with your network. Use the HomeClick Self Test to
check the network settings on your computer or see the network
troubleshooting information, located in the Online Users Guide,
for more information. HomeClick Network Center does not need
to be running to use your home network. To start HomeClick
Network Center, on the Start menu point to Programs, and then
click HomeClick Network Center
See what computers are available on your network
The Network Status page displays the computer you are using,
in addition to the other computers on the network that use the
same network name. If you have problems with your network,
click the Test button and HomeClick Network Center tests the
network settings on the current computer and fixes any prob-
lems it finds.
Add the next computer to your network
After you have run the Network Setup Wizard and installed the
HomeConnect hardware on one computer, remove the CD from
the CD-ROM drive, and take it to the next computer that you
want to be a part of your home network.
Once you finish installing the network software and hardware,
your network may look something like this:
