OPENING THE NEW TRANSMITTER 

1)  Your new transmitter should look like this: (front) 

 

(back)

 

2)  Flip the transmitter over and remove the ring clip. 

 

3)  Remove the Philips head screw and gently pry the plastic case open. 

 

4)  Remove the circuit board but leave the battery in place.
