Setting Up a Network Conference
You can set up a network conference with multiple parties.
Procedure
1.
Place a call to the first party.
2.
Select
Conference
to place a new call.
For T58W, select
Invite
.
The active call is placed on hold.
3.
Dial the second party’s number.
4.
On T58A/VP59 phones, when the second party answers the call, select
Conference
to add the second party to
the conference.
5.
Repeat the above steps until you add all parties.
The conference is set up after the intended parties answer the call.
Note
: The Procedures for setting up a network conference call on specific servers may be different from the introduction
above. Contact your system administrator for more information.
Call Recording
You can record up to 12 hours in one file. By default, the recorded files are saved in the internal SD card.
But if there is a USB flash drive connected to the rear USB port of your phone, the recorded files will be saved in the
storage device according to the priority: USB flash drive > internal SD card.
Recording using a USB flash drive is not available by default. Contact your system administrator for enabling this
feature for you.

Recording a Call
You can record the important parts during an active call.
Important
: Before call recording, especially those involving PSTN, it is necessary to know about the rules and restrictions of
call recording in the country where you are.
It is also very important to inform all the call parties that you are recording and ask for their consent before recording the con-
versation.
Procedure
1.
During a call, swipe the soft key area left and then select
Record
.
For T58W, select
More
>
Record
.
The phone screen displays a recording icon and recording duration.
