5.6 (Dis)assembly

Warning:

Be sure the joystick cable is securely attached to the unit and that the cable is
not able to trail on the ground or become entangled on any surrounding objects
while the unit is in use;

The battery pack weighs 11 kg. The seat with armrests weighs 10 kg. Removal
of armrests will reduce the weight of the seat. Please ask for help if you do not
feel capable of safely lifting that much weight;

Make certain that the controller power is turned off and that the chair is not in
freewheel mode before attempting to perform (dis)assembly;

Before operating of assembling your power chair, be sure to remove the battery
deactivate strip and connect the joystick cable the VR2 controller. Your power
chair will not power up or operate without completing these steps:
Battery pack

Remove the battery pack by pulling up on the handle and remove the battery
deactivate strip, see picture 11;

Connect the joystick control to the VR2 power module, see picture 12;

For disassembly, reverse the assembly process.
Battery replacement
If your batteries need replacement, contact your 2GO ability dealer.
