No connection 
between the 1&1 
HomeServer and the 
device 

Check the manufacturer’s 
instruction manual for 
your device (e.g. compu-
ter, smartphone, tablet) to 
find out how to establish 
a connection to your 1&1 
HomeServer. 
Check the settings on your 
device and try to connect 
again.

Step 1 

Open your browser and go to 

http://fritz.box

. 

Enter your password and click on  

Anmelden

The diagnostics tool will now check the device and all the connections. If a fault is discovered, 
further tools will be displayed, which you can use to seek out the error. 

This will take you to the overview page for 
the 1&1 HomeServer. If there is a green light 
in front of “Internet”, the 1&1 HomeServer is 
connected to the internet.
If the 1&1 HomeServer is not connected to 
the internet for over five minutes, use the di-
agnostics tool to find the cause of the fault.
