Note: Choose your device mode carefully to avoid having to change it later.

3.1.1.1  Changing Operating Mode

Slide the 

AP/Repeater (R)

 mode switch on the WRE6605’s bottom panel to the 

AP

 position to have the 

WRE6605 act as an access point. Slide the switch to the 

Repeater

 position to have the WRE6605 work as 

a repeater.

The WRE6605 restarts automatically after you change operating modes.
