OLT-1308 Series User’s Guide

Use these commands to configure an EPON profile. his command enables MAC address 
learning for the profile. 
The following shows an example.  

• Creates an EPON priority called 

plan1

 for the upstream traffic. 

• Enable data encryption on both the upstream and downstream traffic. 
• Set the minimum and maximum upstream bandwidth to 1000 and 10000 respectively.
• Set the highest priority (7) for this profile.  

The following shows another example. 

• Creates an EPON priority called 

plan2dn

. 

• The policy applies to the downstream traffic. 
• Enable data encryption on both the upstream and downstream traffic. 
• Set the minimum and maximum upstream bandwidth to 2000 and 30000 respectively. 
• Set the traffic priority to 4 (medium).  

38.7  Configuration File Maintenance 

This section shows you how to backup or restore the configuration file on the OLT using 
TFTP. 

38.7.1  Backing up Configuration

Syntax:

copy running-config tftp <ip> <remote-file>

Sets the maximum downstream burst size that an ONU is allowed to 
send for a single traffic burst.  

max-dn-bw <0-

Sets the maximum downstream bandwidth allowed for the ONU.

Sets the maximum and minimum upstream bandwidth guaranteed to 
the ONU. 

max-up-bw <0-

Sets the maximum and minimum upstream bandwidth guaranteed to 
the ONU.
