WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) encrypts data frames before transmitting over the
wireless network. Select

box. The higher the WEP encryption, the higher the security but the slower the
throughput.

You can generate or manually enter a WEP key.

• Enter a

Passphrase

(up to 32 printable characters) and click

Generate

. The device

automatically generates WEP keys. One key displays in the

Key 1

field. Go to

Wireless

Security

if you want to see the other WEP keys.
