Chapter 3 The Web Configurator

ES-315/ES-315-F User’s Guide

3.3.1 Change Your Password

After you log in for the first time, it is recommended you change the default administrator
password. Click

Management

Access Control

and then

Logins

to display the next screen.

Switch Setup

This link takes you to a screen where you can set up priority queues.

IP Setup

This link takes you to a screen where you can configure the IP address, subnet

mask (necessary for Switch management) and DNS (domain name server).

Port Setup

This link takes you to a screen where you can configure settings for individual

Switch ports.

Advanced Application

VLAN

This link takes you to screens where you can configure 802.1Q VLAN.

Static MAC

Forwarding

This link takes you to a screen where you can configure static MAC addresses for a

port. These static MAC addresses do not age out.

Filtering

This link takes you to a screen to set up filtering rules.

Broadcast Storm

Control

This link takes you to a screen to set up broadcast filters.

Bandwidth

Control

This link takes you to a screen where you can cap the maximum bandwidth allowed

from specified source(s) to specified destination(s).
