ZyXEL AG-120 Multilingual Version
Release 1.0.0
Release Note
Date: September. 1, 2006
Supported Platforms:
Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows XP 64-bit
Driver version:
7/20/2006 1.5.4.6
Known issue:
1.
Interoperability issue: AP (ZyAIR G-3000H v3.50 [AAC.1] C0) is WPA-MIX mode, two G-120
clients (WPA-PEAP) can't access each other, they only can access Ethernet station. If G-3000H is
WPA2-PSK-MIX mode, wireless STA sometimes can't access each other.
2.
Interoperability issue: AP is WPA2-mixed (or WPA2-PSK-Mixed mode) mode, DUT can’t
associate to AP on WPA (or WPA-PSK) with Funk Odyssey client v4.5 (DUT utility and Windows
Zero Configuration don’t cause this issue.)
3.
In Win98/ME/2K/XP/XP64, Wireless client didn’t install the root CA. User used “Validate Server
Certificate” mode to authenticate; it passed the authentication.
4.
DUT set in long preamble, but DUT send out the packet with short preamble.
5.
In all OS, DUT associate to AP or try to associate to AP repeatedly, DUT utility would hang
sometimes.
6.
After uninstalling driver and utility, *.inf files can’t be removed.
7.
Manual Start OTIST, DUT still could connect AP without OTIST start. DUT should disconnect to
AP.
8.
DUT connect to AP with profile successfully. Then DUT disconnected and start OTIST function.
DUT couldn’t connect to AP which is running OTIST function and show wrong setup key error
message.
Notes:
1.
No Refresh icon in Site Survey and Profile page.
2.
It does not support when security is 802.1x and dynamic WEP key is disabled.
3.
If SSID’s length is more than 23, OTIST can’t work.
4.
It must select the check box of “Mark this key as exportable. This will allow you to back up or
transport your keys as a later time” when users import the certificate. If users don’t select it, the
EAP-TLS/WPA-TLS/WPA2-TLS mode can’t associate to AP.
5.
Remove the bridge option in Software AP because ZyDAS’s bridge is not stable.
6.
In Software AP, it can’t clear all MAC in Association List of Link Info. That’s ZyDAS driver issue.
7.
When running on the Ad-Hoc mode with 802.11b+g, DUT runs on 802.11b frequency. User can
change this default value from advance tab of ZyXEL wireless PCI Adapter. Change
IBSS_Wireless_Mode’s value to IBSS_G_Mode.
