8.1 Solving problems yourself
WARNING!
Faults may result in unsafe operation.
Do not use the device if it is damaged. If the device shows clear evidence of
faults when in operation, switch it off again immediately and remove the plug
from the socket.
Do not try to repair the device or open it yourself.

heat up

Food does not
cook
Heat output is set too low.

“MAX” position, see section “4.4”.
Food was still frozen.
Make sure that your food has fully
defrosted.
Food has been sliced
too thickly.
Make sure that your food is not sliced too
thickly. If in doubt, first try with thin slices.
It may be possible that you
have not heated up the grill
sufficiently.
Pre-heat it for at least 10 minutes, see section
“4.4”. If you want to grill using the stone
slab, you will need to pre-heat for around
25 minutes.
Grilled food and
raclette burns
The heat output setting is
too high.
Turn down the power controller after the
pre-heating phase, see section “5” and “6”.
Cheese burns
Cheese is too low-fat.
It is best to use cheese with a fat content
exceeding 45%.
Stone slab
discolours with
continuing use.
This is not a fault. This slab
is made from natural stone,
which discolours due to use.

8.3 Warranty
ZWILLING grants you a manufacturer’s warranty of two years starting from the purchase date.
In this period we will rectify any faults for free if they can be proven to be due to material or
manufacture defects and limit functionality considerably. Further claims are excluded. Damage due
to non-observance of the operating instructions, improper handling or normal wear are excluded
from the warranty.
The warranty is made void if the device is opened by unauthorised persons. If repairs are necessa-
ry, first contact our service hotline and, only after consultation, send the device without accessories,
well packed and with a description of the fault and proof of purchase directly to customer service.
The vendor’s statutory warranty rights and any vendor’s warranty remain unaffected.
8.4 Environmentally friendly disposal
CAUTION!
You are making an important contribution to the protection of the environment by
disposing of the device correctly.
The device contains electronic components and, therefore, may not be disposed
of with household waste.
Observe your local waste regulations when disposing of the device. Enquire at
your local council if you are in doubt.
Do not dispose of the device in the household waste.
Return the device to a collection centre for electronic waste.
Dispose of the accessories of the raclette grill set separately according to material.
Correctly dispose of any packaging material you no longer require.
