3 Before first use
4 Preparing the device for use
3.1 Cleaning accessories

1. Remove all packaging materials.
2. Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly way or keep it if you wish to
store the raclette grill later.
3. Check that the delivery is complete (see fig. 1) and intact.
NOTICE:
Do not operate the device if there are missing or damaged parts. Contact the vendor
where you bought the set immediately.
4. Clean the accessories (fig. 3) before the first use as follows:
CAUTION!
Damage caused by incorrect cleaning:
Do not use hard cleaning utensils such as a scourer or wire wool when cleaning
and do not use strong cleaning products such as thinners, alcohol, etc.
Never place the stone slab or the wooden spatulas in water.
Wash the griddle and the pans by hand with a mild washing-up liquid (see fig. 3/1). The
griddle and the pans are also dishwasher-proof.
Rinse the stone slab and the wooden spatulas under running water (see fig. 3/2).
5. Dry the cleaned accessories.
4.1 Setting up the device
Place the grill in a location that satisfies the following conditions:
Close to a correctly installed, earthed socket
Even, stable, clean, dry, heat-resistant and fat-resistant surface
Away from flammable materials (minimum distance of 1 metre)
WARNING!
Danger
of
burns.
Never use the device without the griddle and stone slab already in position
(see section “4.2” and “4.3”).
4.2 Attaching the stone slab
1. Always position the stone slab on the right side of the device (as seen from the front, see fig. 4).
2. Make sure that the stone slab is secure and that the braces on the frame fit in to the two grooves
on the underside of the slab (see fig. 4).
