Method C: Local PC RS-232 Control (Console)
RS232 Protocol/ASCII Commands
Serial COM Port Settings
Connect a 9-pin straight through RS-232 cable from the MAHCL4X4 to your Home or Commercial
Automation System. Configure the serial communications port on your automation system or PC to these
settings.
Baud Rate: 9600 bps
Data Bit: 8 bits
Parity: None
Stop Bit: 1 bit
Flow Control: None
**Note** All Commands Require a Carriage Return <CR>
POWER Standby/ON
PWR 00<CR>
Puts matrix in Standby
PWR 01<CR>
Turns matrix On
