10.11. Tensioning compressor belt
1. Mark position of the grub screws (Fig.
2. Unscrew grub screws until they are flush
with the belt tensioning nut.
3. Fit C spanner and socket (Fig. 10.19).
4. Tighten C spanner and socket. It is pos-
sible to adjust in steps of a quarter of a
turn.
Attention:
On tightening the pulley,
always keep turning so that the belt does
not become trapped.
5. Check tension: it should be possible to
deflect the belt approx. 1 cm with gentle
pressure.
6. Screw in grub screws and tighten to 10
Nm.
Attention:
The markings must be in
a line.

3. Screw in the release device using the bolts
M12x70 until it is hand-tight (Fig. 10.21).
4. To release the brakes, tighten the nut two
turns.
Secure the combine against rolling away prior to manually release the brake.
Do not tighten excessively, as
otherwise indentations may be
produced on the end caps on
the hydraulic motors.
