Configuring COM Port  

This topic describes how to configure ZXR10 GER using COM 
port. 
Command Line Interface (CLI) is accessed.  

Note

: CLI is a text-based interface that can be accessed 

through a direct serial connection to device and through telnet 
connections. For serial connection, there must be a DB-9 serial 
cable connected between Computer System and Router. 
Proceed with the following steps. 
1. Click on

 Start>Programs>Accessories>Communications 

> HyperTerminal

 

2.

 

Click on

 HyperTerminal 

and then, type ZTE as connection 

name and then click

> OK

 button,

 

as shown in Figure 36.
