Configuring VRRP

To configure VRRP, perform the following steps.

A VRRP group can be configured with multiple virtual addresses.

Examples

Basic VRRP Configuration Example

This example shows that R1 and R2 run in the VRRP protocol
between each other.

R1 interface address 10.0.0.1 is used as

the VRRP virtual address, therefore R1 is considered as a mas-
ter router. This is shown in

Figure 23
