Chapter 4 Service Configuration
Guidelines
This command sets the ingress rate limit function in accordance with this formula: ingress
rate limit = number of packets * length of packets. The configuration is valid only in ingress
rate limit global byte mode.
Example
The following example sets the ingress rate limit to 1000 pps and packet length to 64 bytes
for port 25:
zte(cfg)#set qos traffic-limit ge-port 25 packet-rate 1000 packet-lenth 64
4.14.19 set qos traffic-limit xge-port data-rate
Purpose
This command sets the ingress rate limit for a 10 GB port.

Number of a 10 GB port. Different devices have different port
number ranges. In the syntax, the 2952E device is used as an
example.
<
0-10000000
>
Ingress rate limit, in Kbps or Kpps. The configuration granularity is
256 Kbps or 32 Kpps. The unit and granularity vary with global
mode configurations.
disable
Disables the port rate limit function.
Guidelines
After the rate limit is configured, it takes effect automatically.
Example
The following example sets the ingress rate limit to 1000 pps and packet length to 64 bytes
for port 2/1:
