After contents are distributed to the central node, content dis-
patch tasks to edge nodes are generated.
�
In the content management module, content dispatch tasks
can be generated by manually copying content.
�
To minimize bandwidth consumption and improve the usage
efficiency of the disk arrays on the edge nodes, content dis-
tribution policies can be set on the Portal. Content dispatch
tasks will be generated automatically according to the preset
content distribution policies.
�
During the creation of relay channels, if the destination stream
media does not have the same default programs or SDP con-
tents of the source channel, content dispatch tasks will be gen-
erated automatically.
Steps
1. Click
Task > Content Dispatch Task
.
2. Specify query conditions such as
VCDN name
,
Node name
,
POP unit name
,
Target node
,
Destination POP unit
,
Sta-
tus
,
Start date
,
End date
and
Source FTP address
.
If no parameter specified for a query condition option, this op-
tion will not be used as a filtering condition for the query result.
To reset the query conditions, click the
Reset
button.
3. Click the
Query
button to get the query result, as shown below.

Querying Content
Distribution Task
Context
Users can query the information of the content distribution tasks.
Steps
1. Click
Task > Content Publish Task
.
2. Specify query conditions such as
VCDN name
,
Node name
,
POP unit name
,
Content name
,
Status
,
Release type
,
Start date
and
End date
.
If no parameter specified for a query condition option, this op-
tion will not be used as a filtering condition for the query result.
To reset the query conditions, click the
Reset
button.
3. Click the
query
button to get the query result, as shown below.
