Connecting to Your Phone via USB

You can connect your phone to other devices with a USB cable
to transfer files in both directions, charge the phone, or install
the driver.
1. Connect your phone to the device with a USB cable.

2. Choose one of the following options:



Charge this device:

Charge your phone via USB.



Transfer files:

Transfer files on Windows

PC or Mac



Transfer photos (PTP):

Transfer photos using camera

software.



Install driver:

Install the driver needed for some USB

connection mode. You only need to install the driver on
the same PC once.

To disconnect the phone from the device, simply unplug the
USB cable when you’re finished.
