Turn Bluetooth On or Off
Use the settings menu to enable or disable your device
’s Bluetooth capabilities.
1. Touch

2. Touch the on/off slider to turn Bluetooth on
. Touch it again to turn Bluetooth
off
.
Tip:
An even easier way to turn Bluetooth on or off is with the Power control widget on the
home screen.
Note:
Turn off Bluetooth when not in use to conserve battery power, or in places where using a
wireless device is prohibited, such as aboard an aircraft and in hospitals.
The Bluetooth Settings Menu
The Bluetooth settings menu gives you access to information and controls for your device
’s
Bluetooth feature.

Connect a Bluetooth Headset or Car Kit
You can listen to music over a Bluetooth stereo headset, or have hands-free conversations
using a compatible Bluetooth headset or car kit. It's the same procedure as for setting up other
hands-free devices.
To listen to music with your headset or car kit, the headset or car kit must support the A2DP
Bluetooth profile.
