Set Up Your Phone
You must first charge the battery to begin setting up your phone.
1. Charge your battery.
Note:
Your phone's battery is integrated into the device and cannot be removed.
Plug the USB connector into the charger/micro-USB jack on the left of your phone
and the AC adapter into an electrical outlet. Fully charging a battery may take up to
three hours.
You can also charge the phone wirelessly by attaching it to a wireless charging cover
(sold separately) and putting it on any compatible wireless charging pad. Adjust the
position of the phone on the charging pad until the battery charging icon (see
―Status
Icons
‖ in
) is displayed in the Status bar.
Note:
Your phone
’s battery may have enough charge for the phone to turn on and find a signal,
run the setup application, set up voicemail, and make a call. You should fully charge the battery
as soon as possible.
Note:
If your phone is brand new or has not been used for some time, you may not see any
indication that the phone is being charged at first. This is caused by over-drained battery and
your phone will return to normal after two hours of charging.
2. Press and hold the
Power
button to turn the phone on.
