CONNECTING THE WATER LINE TO THE REFRIGERATOR
There are several items that you need to purchase to complete this connection. You
will find these items sold as a kit at your local hardware store.
1. Water tubes (supplied) insert into corresponding hole of water connector
(supplied).
2. Water line installation kit (not included) inserts into another hole of water
connector (supplied).
3. Turn water valve on and check for any leakage
CONNECTING THE WATER LINE TO A DRINKABLE WATER SOURCE
• If your water line is NOT potable, please add an external water filter.
• If you must repair or disassemble the water line, cut off the plastic tubing to make
sure you get a snug, leak-free connection.
INSTALLING THE WATER LINE
Water line installation kits are available at a local hardware store.
1. Attach new stainless steel braided line to the main water valve, making sure that
the water is turned off.
2. Connect the other end of the braided line to the 1/4 to 1/4 brass compression
connection that is in the water line kit. Take off the other end by unscrewing the
brass connector.
3. Slide the female screw connection piece that was taken off of the brass
connector and with the brass ring around the base of the plastic water line. That
attaches to the refrigerator.
4. Then, take the plastic line and with the female connection piece and securely
tighten it to the brass connector piece.
5. Finally, turn on water and slowly making sure there are not water leaks.
CONNECTING TO THE WATER SUPPLY LINE
1. Shut off the main water supply line and turn the ice-maker off.
2. Locate the nearest cold water supply valve.
3. After connecting the water supply to the water valve, turn your main water
supply back on and flush several gallons of water to clear the water supply line.
