Position the bottom rail with routed holes for spindles facing
upwards.
Slide one post down thru the routed hole in the bottom rail
(that has the pre-drilled hole) until the pre-drilled hole in post
and rail align.
Tip!
Shine an LED light from smart phone or flashlight down the
end of the posts to help identify alignment of pre-drilled
holes if necessary.
Do the same with the other post.
Secure the bottom rail to both sides of the posts as illustrated.
