WARNING!
Always ensure that the arms of the chair are secure before using
the chair.
Adjusting Arm Height
To adjust the Height of the armrest (Fig.13.1).
• Turn the screw beneath the armrest pivot, this changes the
angle.
• Note if the Stop option (B) is fitted this has to be loosened too.
Adjusting Arm Angle
• The arms fitted to your Neptune 2 chair can be altered to sit
throughout an angle range, enabling the user to level their tray
no matter what tilt the chair is secured at, (Fig.13.2).
• Loose the knurled knob below the arm-pad rotating the pad to
achieve angle required
• When a suitable position has been acquired, then re-tighten
the knob.
Adjusting Position of the Pad
• To change the position of the pad, remove the fixing screws
beneath the pad.
• Move the pad to the desired position and re-fit the screws.
CAUTION!
The plunger (B) should pull out freely, if resistance is felt
ensure no weight is being put through the arm rest.
Adjustable Armrest Lock
For extra safety and security, the Neptune 2 can be fitted with
armrest locks, which are optionally available. The armrest lock
secures the folding armrests to prevent the user from folding
them up involuntarily.
The plunger (B) is situated below the armrest and prevents the
armrest from accidentaly fliping up.
• Pull the plunger out, to allow the armrest to move
• Push the plunger in, to lock the armrest.

WARNING!
• Always ensure that the arms are fixed in position and the tray
is secure before leaving the user unattended.
• Never leave anything hot on the tray while the client is
unattended.
Fitting a Tray
• First check that both of the chair arms are positioned at the
same height.
• Line up the arms of the tray with the holes on the arms of the
chair, (A).
• Slide both arms of the tray through the relevant holes until
the desired position is reached, (B).
• Secure the tray in place on both sides via the hand wheels at
the side of the chair arms, (C). Do not over tighten, (Fig.14.1-
14.3).
