16.2.21 Electrical wiring and fuses
• Check all electrical connections regularly for proper contact. Loose or damaged wiring can cause
electrical system malfunctions, such as: Short circuit, leakage current or other costly defects.
• Check wiring and replace damaged components immediately.
• If a fuse is blown shortly after replacement, contact your nearest dealer. Always use fuses of the
same specification.

• Replace spark plug after one year or after 500 working hours.

16.2.24 Adjustment of the chains
WARNING:
• Do not crawl under the machine and work under it.
• For your own safety, do not rely on hydraulically supported machines. Due to a leaking hydraulic
system, the machine could fall or lower suddenly.
• Make sure that no foreign objects, such as stones, are trapped in the crawlers. These foreign bodies
must be removed before adjusting the chain tension.
The following points must be observed when adjusting the chains:
(1) If the chains slacken more than 25 mm (0.98 in.), their tension must be readjusted.
(2) Check the chain tension 30 hours after the first use of the machine. If necessary, the tension must
be readjusted. Thereafter, check and adjust the chain tension every 50 hours of operation.
Raise the machine
• Tension the crawler only in the raised position
of the machine.
• The distance between the sprocket and the in-
side of the crawler should be 10-15 mm.
• The crawler is equipped with a lock. This lock
(marking "
∞
") must be located at the top in the
middle between the front idler and the chain
wheel.
NOTE: If the lock is not positioned correctly, then the
crawlers are not taut enough. A new adjustment of
the crawler tension is then necessary.
