Automatic data entry
In case of automatic input, the dimensions are determined with the electronic gauge. The front
gauge measures the distance value A and the nominal diameter D.
18.5.2.1.
Distance value A and nominal diameter D
Pull out the gauge until it touches the inner
rim edge.
Hold the gauge until a dashed line appears on
the display A and D (see graphic left).
Return the gauge to its original position.
Display A and D now display the recorded
values.
NOTICE:
The gauge must be correctly
attached to the rim in order to obtain a
precise measuring value.
If an incorrect value was recorded during the
measurement, reposition the gauge against
the rim edge and repeat the procedure.
18.5.2.2.
Nominal size W
NOTICE:
If your machine is not equipped with a gauge to determine the nominal diameter W,
enter the value manually (see 18.5.1 Manual data entry).

Self-Calibration
N O T I C E
Entering the wrong dimensions will cause the machine to be incorrectly calibrated
and all subsequent measurements to be incorrect until a new self-calibration with
the correct dimensions is performed.
To self-calibrate the machine, proceed as follows:
1.
Mount any wheel on the shaft, even if it is not balanced; better still, if it has an average
size.
2.
Set the exact dimensions of the wheel (
A
,
D
,
W
value).
Press keys Fn and C on the control panel
simultaneously to enter the program.
The display shows US
R
. | C
AL
.
Press the S
TART
key. A complete turn is
performed and the display shows Add | 100.
Attach the calibration weight (100g) to any
position on the outer side of the rim.
Press the S
TART
key again.
