Site preparation
4.1.1 About site preparation

The device preparation should be performed only by authorised maintenance
staff from Zimmer MedizinSysteme.
2.
When preparing the reModel site, the operator should take the spatial,
electrical, environmental, storage, and transport requirements of the system
into account.

Maintain room humidity at 30 to 90%, non-condensing, and temperature
between 10 to 27°C (50 to 86°F). Keep the device away from direct sunlight.

4.1.2 Assembly of the main body and handpiece connection

Place the roll main handpiece in the holder. Insert the cable in the intended
jack (roll marking on the jack) on the back of the device such that the black
markings on the jack and edge of the connector line up. Then turn the
connector to the right until it snaps into place. Both are printed on the jack
and at the edge of the connector. Then turn the plug to the right until it snaps
into place.

The multipolar handpiece is available in 3 different sizes. Select the
appropriate size and place it in the holder. Insert the cable in the intended
jack (multi marking on the jack) on the back of the device such that the black
markings on the jack and edge of the connector line up. Both are printed on
the jack and at the edge of the connector. Then turn the plug to the right until
it snaps into place.

Place the thermal handpiece in the holder. The thermal handpiece is
available in 2 different sizes. Plug the connection port of the handpiece into
the “thermal” jack located at the back of the device. Push the plug carefully
directly into the connection until it clicks into place. There are several
electronic pins at the end of the connection port. Please ensure that these
pins do not become bent during the assembly process.
