Surgical Technique

Face Reaming

Slide the face reamer assembly over the exposed
anchor plug traction bar and ream the osteotomy site
(Figure 62).

Important:

Start power and run at full speed prior

to the face reamer contacting the bone. Ream to
the mechanical stop.

Spindle

(cont.)

Slide the centering sleeve provisional that was
previously used on the anchor plug holder and lock it
into place with a clockwise turning motion (Figure 61).
