General instructions
All moving parts should be lubricated and cared for
to a degree usual for a machine construction con-
text.
Regular cleaning and the removal of deposits serves
the value-retention and operating safety.
Components subject to regular or irregular move-
ment also require periodic oiling or greasing.
All bare machine parts require reliable rust-protec-
tion after the conclusion of the harvest.

Storage
Recommendation:
Clean the machine thoroughly after the conclusion of
the harvest and remove all harvest material and
other residue.
The cleaning hatches and service apertures are to
be kept open during the storage period, in order to
prevent damage to the cables by rodents.

Cleaning after the harvest season
After the end of a predominantly dry harvest season,
we recommend dry cleaning, i.e. with compressed
air and no liquid.
If the machine has been subject to damp conditions
and suffered the corresponding soiling, it is neces-
sary to perform the cleaning with a high-pressure
cleaner.
The hood and the feeder chains must be removed
first. All bearings must be greased.
