Changing the Drive Speed

Nominal speed is not reached

If the nominal speed of the picker of approx. n = 600 Rev/min is
not reached, there is the option to correct the speed by exchang-
ing the sprocket within the gears (K).

First check, if the default value of the thresher at the respective
drive shaft connection (B) accords to the factory specifications.

The speed can be calculated with the following formula:

Harvester Speed x upper sprocket / bottom sprocket = head-
er speed

The reduction/increase is performed via the exchange of one or
both of the sprockets. If necessary, the connection chain may
have to be extended/shortened.

lar the condition of the elastic elements (E) and the tappet claws.
