31. Commissioning; Important Notices
Speed
The standard speed is specified at n= 580-630 Rev/1 min.
For safety reasons, the speed of 700 Rev/1 min may not be ex-
ceeded.
In order to reach a sufficiently favourable speed ratio, the speed
of 550 U/1 min. may not be exceeded at the harvesting of corn.
Any damage due to the non-compliance of the speed range are
not covered by the warranty.

Testing of the lateral tilt compensation
Before commissioning, the angling plate function of the thresher
must be tested in combination with the corn header.

Check for sufficient drive shaft length and sufficient
overlap!

Check the slope steering system (optional)
It is not permitted to reside within the hazard area at
running motor!

Securing of the corn field
Ensure before the commissioning pf the corn header that there
are no persons in the maize field or within the vicinity of the corn
header!
For persons residing in the corn field, there is a risk
of life! Persons can be pulled in by the corn header
and seriously injured!
Clean air filters and other sensitive components
on a daily basis!
Dust development
For physical reasons, a certain amount of dust development can
not be avoided at horizontally operating choppers close to the
ground.
In addition, chopped material that is flung about, depending on
the characteristics of the same, may influence the one or other
function of the corn header.
It is therefore important to regularly clean air filters and similar
devices, as well as other sensitive parts (piston rods of the hy-
draulic cylinders etc.).
